Jayden's First Birthday Cake Smash

This summer I had a privilege of photographing Jayden's first birthday cake smash. She is a daughter of a really good friend of mine.
The cake smash was a really fun photo shoot. I don't know who had more fun. Jayden or me! I love watching Jayden enjoy her cake. Every bite, she was saying "yumm...yummm....yummm!!!"
 The gorgeous cake was made by a really talented Ann from Style cakes in Sherwood Park, AB.

 

Lara's Bachorlette Party

I had a wonderful time getting to know this wonderful bride, Lara as I photographed part of her bachorlette party with a portrait session of all the girls.

This bunch of girls made me laugh from the time I started to the time I ended. When I was editing my pictures it brought back many smiles just remembering such a fun night.

I wish Lara all the best in her upcoming wedding!

Hemmingway Family

The Hemmingway family portraits were done at Lorelei Park on a beautiful late summer day. During our photo shoot we were all trying to avoid all the mosquito and the hot sun heat. The kids were really patient and did a wonderful job and had treats at the end of the photo shoot.

I took this wonderful family portraits a while back, and I just never actually posted them to my blog. So here they are, a little late, but none the less a very fun portrait session.

Winter Maternity Portrait

I had a winter maternity portrait session like no other, my very own.

It is completely different being on both sides of the camera during the photo shoot. Nothing like running back and forth from the camera to set up the picture and then to run back into the picture (my remote was not working).

My husband will tell you I am completely nuts, and I have to agree with him. Having any portrait session in -24 degrees Celsius anytime is considered crazy, but I would not change it for anything. The weather was very picturesque! So you can't complain about a very nice background!
